The rules that keep the citable feed clean, fair and trustworthy.

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using OrionReel, you accept these Terms of Service, the Community Guidelines and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

2. Your content stays yours

You keep every right to what you upload. By publishing on OrionReel you grant us the license needed to host, transcode and serve your content on the platform, and to expose its citable layer (transcription, structured description, JSON-LD) to humans, crawlers and AI assistants. Nothing more.

3. Watermark & attribution

OrionReel adds a subtle watermark to served videos and attaches authorship metadata (copyrightHolder, creditText, license) to every published piece so that LLMs and crawlers attribute your work correctly.

Music & Audio Policy

You are the only one responsible. OrionReel does not verify, license or clear the audio in your videos. The creator who publishes is solely responsible for holding the rights to every sound in their content.

Every video requires an audio declaration before publishing: voice only, AI-generated, royalty-free, original or licensed. Declaring a false category to publish copyrighted music violates these Terms and may result in content removal and account termination.

DMCA & takedowns. Upon any copyright claim (DMCA or equivalent), reported through the copyright option on each video, the content may be removed or disabled provisionally while the claim is reviewed. Repeat infringers lose their accounts. Counter-notices are honored per applicable law.

Need safe audio? Use free sources: Pixabay Music, Freepd, YouTube Audio Library, Suno or Udio.

4. The citable layer is mandatory

Every publication requires a complete structured layer — that is the product's contract with AI and with readers. No citable layer, no publishing.

5. Prohibited content

All published content must comply with the Community Guidelines. Violations result in content removal and may lead to account suspension.

6. Moderation

Community reports can provisionally auto-hide content at the threshold while the review queue decides. Illegal content, harassment and repeated copyright violations are removed.

7. Subscriptions & payments

The Creator plan is a monthly subscription. Pricing details are on the pricing page. Cancellations take effect at the end of the billing period. No partial refunds for early cancellation.

8. Limitation of liability

OrionReel is provided "as is". We do not guarantee that LLMs or AI engines will cite your content, nor that the platform will be free of errors or interruptions. Your use is at your own risk.
