Distribution first, content second: the order nobody follows
Content creators wondering why excellent posts get zero views
Great content with no distribution plan dies in silence
Everyone writes the content first and thinks about distribution after. That order is backwards. The sequence that works: find where your audience already gathers, understand what that channel rewards, then create for that format. Reddit rewards depth and vulnerability. LinkedIn rewards specific professional transformations. Newsletters reward consistency and voice. Short video rewards the first two seconds. The same idea needs four different bodies depending on the room it walks into. I spent a year writing excellent posts for nobody before I flipped the order. Pick your channel like a comedian picks their venue. Then write the joke for that room. Content is not king. Distribution is the kingdom and content pays the taxes.
